Public Works
Gallery Joey Ramone, Rotterdam, 2017

An investigation of road marking and signage systems, and the actions of
workers who create these public signals, connecting labour, movement and
reproduction. This includes the manual reproduction of a standardised road
sign from 23 European countries, and a performance in which a local line
painting company is commissioned to write the word 'slow' by hand, directly
onto the road.
